Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) can be used to inform treatment decisions for acute ischemic stroke patients, particularly when assessing eligibility of late-window patients for thrombolysis and thrombectomy.
Brainomix 360 e-MRI is an FDA-cleared visualization and processing tool which provides both analysis and viewing capabilities for Diffusion Weighted Imaging (DWI) and Dynamic Susceptibility Contrast (DSC) perfusion, allowing for side-by-side viewing of different MR sequences along with results.
The tool can process DWI scans to generate an Apparent Diffusion Coefficient (ADC) map. An automated algorithm then processes DWI and ADC images to generate a mask where low ADC values are displayed with a computed volume - indicating areas likely to contain restricted diffusion. ADC, bmax, b0, and the ADC mask are displayed side-by-side for ease of viewing.
e-MRI can also process DSC MR volumes to compute standard perfusion parameters, using a robust, delay-insensitive deconvolution algorithm. Outputs include:
