Dr Oliver Reuss

Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund Director

Oliver is Executive Director and Investment Manager of the Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund. Currently, he is on the Boards of Dopavision in Berlin and Perfood in Lübeck.

Oliver is a trained biologist and did his PhD in Molecular Biology with a focus on Infectious Diseases. He spent 5 years in academic research at the Institute for Molecular Infection Biology at the University of Würzburg, where he focused on the characterization of oligopeptide transporters in pathogens. After some time in business consulting, Oliver joined Boehringer Ingelheim in 2008. After various roles in business analytics, business development, in-licensing, strategy and healthcare innovation, Oliver joined the Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund in 2018.
