Brainomix CEO & Co-Founder, Dr Michalis Papadakis, was honoured to speak before the UK House of Lords Select Committee on “Innovation in the NHS: Personalised Medicine & AI.”
Michalis shared the Brainomix journey, from an Oxford University spin-out to a globally recognised AI innovator, with our stroke and lung imaging solutions now supporting clinicians and patients across more than 20 countries.
He also highlighted the vital role that NHS England collaborations and UK funding have played in helping drive innovation and real-world clinical impact.
Looking ahead, Michalis emphasised two key priorities for unlocking the full potential of AI in healthcare:
✅ Creating a clear national adoption pathway, from identifying clinical need and validation, through procurement, reimbursement and scale up, ensuring that innovative technologies can deliver meaningful impact at scale.
